Il MAC Saxophone Quartet nasce nel 2010 da quattro solisti che vantano numerose ed importanti collaborazioni musicali e numerosi primi premi in concorsi nazionali ed internazionali.
Diplomati con lode si sono poi perfezionati con illustri Maestri quali J.M. Londeix, C. Delangle, V. David, J. Y. Formeau, F. Mondelci, M. Gerboni, M. Marzi.
Collaborano con orchestre sinfoniche come Orchestra Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala di Milano, Orchestra del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Orchestra G. Verdi di Milano, Orchestra del Teatro Lirico G. Verdi di Trieste, Orchestra del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Orchestra del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Orchestra FVG Mitteleuropa.
Intensa la loro attività concertistica in Italia (Ravenna Festival, Biennale di Venezia, Stage Internazionale del Saxofono di Fermo, etc.) e all’estero (Russia, Stati Uniti, Brasile, Australia, Lituania, Slovenia, Croazia, , Germania, Austria, Libano, Oman). Apprezzati da pubblico e critica i lavori discografici “Faces” (2011), “Zahir” (2013), e “Viaje” (2016). Molto attivo anche sul versante contemporaneo, il quartetto è stato dedicatario di meravigliose pagine scritte dai maestri S. Movio, P. Ugoletti, P. Ros, D. Lazzaron, R. De Giacometti, C. Corazza, A. Cuozzo.
Il quartetto si è esibito in prestigiosi eventi come il “World Saxophone Congress” di Zagabria, il “Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium” di Washington D.C. e ha collaborato con artisti come R. Plano, L. Cottifogli, V. Sivilotti.
Il MAC Saxophone Quartet tiene regolarmente corsi di perfezionamento ed è fondatore del MAC Saxophone Meeting di Riardo (CE) e del Pontebba Saxophone Festival (UD).

The MAC Saxophone Quartet was established in 2010 by four soloists who won numerous and important musical collaborations and numerous first prizes in national and international competitions.

Appreciated by the public and critics the recording works “Faces” (2011), “Zahir” (2013), and “Viaje” (2016). The MAC Saxophone Quartet holds regular master classes and is the founder of the MAC Saxophone Meeting of Riardo (CE) and the Pontebba Saxophone Festival (UD).
